LET'S MAKE
A TREE
1ºESO A: May 12th, 2010 We learnt the parts
of a tree and how a tree works with a simple
performance directed by Aaron Johnson.

Sandra and Ángel
represented
the nerve of the
plant. Its function is to
hold the tree upright.  |
Guillermo, Mari Carmen and Irene were
the
roots
which absorb water and minerals from the soil.  |
| Raúl, María José, Jorge and some more students represented vessels transporting water and minerals from ther roots to the leaves. Sabina, Aurora, María and Sara were the leaves. They were doing photosynthesis. | |

| Angela, Virginia, Silvia, Lucia and some
more
actors and actresses represented the bark that protects
the tree. Pablo and Manuel were woodpeckers that tried to pass through the bark. |
