1ºESO PUPILS STUDYING ANIMALS
JUNE, 2008

Isaac Duarte brought some animals that he had found in the country.
On the left you can see a scorpion, a poisonous animal that belongs to the arthropod group.
On the right there is a detail of its claws.

This is a centipede (escolopendra).
It's an inverterbrate, arthropod, myriapod. It has two strong claws in its mouth.

We take care of silkworms at home and we studied them until they became butterflies.
Silkworms are insects.
We looked for the names of some shells using a dichotomica key.

We got some "egagrópilas". They are little balls that are spat out by night bird of prey like owls.
We find bones, hair and feathers inside the egagrópilas.
