LABORATORY: MEASURING VOLUME, MASS AND DENSITY
 (1ºESO, September 2007)

Getting the volume of several figures using formulae.

Learning to read measuring cylinders (capacity and preciseness).
How can you get the volume of some liquids? Using a measuring cylinder.

You can get the volume of a stone using a measuring cylinder and some water.
Getting the volume of water drop (con pipeta)

Getting the  mass of some objects using a one-dish scale.
To calculate the density of a stone you have to divide mass by volume.
You get the mass using a scale and the volume using a measuring cylinder.

Here we are making a solution of water and a blue solid.
