| Here we are enjoying the Pinsapar
with Nora who has helped us to improve our
English during this year. |
|
| The first part of the way was hard
because of the slope. |
|
| But when we got to the top, called
Puerto de las Cumbres, we could enjoy a marvellous sight including the village of Grazalema. |
|
|
Resting and having sandwiches at the
Puerto de las Cumbres. The peak below is called San Cristobal.
|
|
| We carried on walking rounded by
piornos. Piornos are
plants adapted to
live in high places where life is very hard because of the strong
winds, the low temperature and the lack of water. Their hemispheric
shape
is good to bear these conditions. The piorno on the right is called
"cojín de
monja" but it is plenty of spines: poor nuns! |
|
| Eventually we arrived to the forest
of pinsapos. There was a special atmosphere inside it: darkness, humidity and very high trees. We wrote down some characteristics of this forest . |
|
| After crossing the forest we got to a
meadow where we had lunch and played for a while. |
