Distillation: we can
get alcohol from wine boiling it.

We can separate iron
from sand using a magnet.
 |

Decanting: Water density is higher than oil
density and we can separate them using this special funnel (embudo de
decantación).
 |
The smoke from a cigarette is an homogenoeus
mixture. It contains very small solid particles that can pass to our
lungs. We can separate them using a piece of cottom and a smoking
bottle.   |
| Filtration: we can separate solid particles from a liquid using a filter paper and a funnel. | |
